ADELE – Adele [2-22-2011]. Especially “Rolling in the Deep,” “Rumour Has It” and “Lovesong.” Emerging soulful vocalist out of the UK – originally dubbed as “The New Amy Winehouse” – fires up good grooves on her sophomore album.

JAMES BLAKE – James Blake [2-7-1011]. Especially “Limit Your Love,” “The Wilhelm Scream” and “Measurements.” Innovative and spare electronica peppers this self- titled debut album from London-based producer.

THE KING IS DEAD – The Decemberists [1-14-2011]. Especially “Don’t Carry It All,” “January Hymn,” “Down by the Water” and “This is why we Fight.” Sixth album of British-inspired folk rock by Portland-based group.
